Another Skirt!

I started and finished this skirt last evening. It took about 45 minutes to put together. All it is is a rectangle with an elastic waist. I cut it out so the width was 90 inches and made it how long I wanted it (I actually got the width measurement from THIS site)! I think it came out to be around 40 inches long. It is so full, long, and beautiful I LOVE it!!!

Mom had made two just like it (but smaller) for my little sister. So I decided to make one for myself. I also had enough fabric left over for a matching skirt for Sophia! AND with scraps I made one for her 18 inch doll, so we now have 3 matching skirts.

I couldn't get the color to come out right in this picture. It's the green in the picture above. But these are the little flowers. They are about 1/2 inch big from stem to petals.

Left, Right, Left, Right

The left, right, left, right, movement of spinning is so relaxing. It's a lot like riding a bike =) Here is a picture of my latest spinnings.

I'm working on filling another bobbin then I can ply them together. Not sure what I'm going to knit with this yarn...... Maybe mittens! Or socks! Or a hat! Or slippers! Or ......... there are so many possibilities! What do you think I should make?

New Skirt

I found the BEST pattern online for a tiered skirt. I found it here. You enter in your hip measurement and it tells you how long and wide to make your fabric strips!

And here is the finished project.

It's a small print black skirt. It goes very well with a grey sweater that I have and a black plaid shirt that I have.

Oh So Cute

I have the cutest French Angora rabbit that ever lived!! Maybe I'm a bit bias..... Naw..... Never!

I had him in the house so the children could play with him and I caught this VERY cute picture:
Doesn't it look like he's praying? I have a very religious rabbit.

And he so cute with his "broken" ear. His ear flops, It's just the way God made him. It's funny because as I was look at "wool" rabbits..... I had wanted to get a Lopped ear rabbit but decided that they weren't the breed for me. But God gave me what I wanted! Isn't He an AWESOME God?!?!?!?!?!
