:: About This Farm Girl

I'm Hannah ~ I live on 4 acres with my best friend, Brian, and we use our time to run our homestead. I grew up on a 14 acre homestead and chose to forgo college but instead invested my time in learning how to be the best wife and mother that I could possibly be. My mother was the perfect teacher and some of the things I learned from her, that I hope to implement on my own homestead, are home management, general cleaning, meal preparation, animal husbandry, budgeting, elementary education, growing & preserving food, child training, herbal health, etc...

I'm happily married to my best friend! God truly wrote our love story and I hope I get the chance to tell it someday. We've been married since early February 2015 - so less than a year but we already have so many plans and dreams that we want to accomplish with God's help.

I love living in the country away from the hustle and bustle of the city! I love our dog, Jude, and our barn cat. But I can't wait to add to our little homestead. Some of our plans include children (God willing), chickens, sheep, maybe a turkey or 6!

We are always learning as much as we can about Yahweh (God). He has so much to tell us that it will take a life time to learn it all. I love Yahweh so much that I want to thank Him. I thank Him by observing His Torah (the law) that He gave to His people. Not so I can obtain my salvation but to thank Him for the free gift of grace.

I enjoy graphic design, herbal remedies, spinning yarn, knitting, preserving, cooking (not baking though), and country music (most of the time). I'm very much an outdoors girl and would rather be out in the barn than anywhere in the world.

You can tell I'm a farm girl by my cell phone voice mail message: "Hey! I must be out in the barn doing chores but I'll call you back as soon as I get back in."

~I'm just a Raggedy Ann in a Barbie Doll world.
