Winter Hat For Little Brother

So, here in Minnesota, winter has been hitting us in full force lately. Littlest brother has a hat but his coat kept pushing it forward and it would get in his eyes. He would then push it out of his eyes and off his ears. Big sister {Me} decided to do something about it.

Yarn Used: Lion Brand Wool-Ease
Color: Denim
Needles: Size 8 Double Pointed
Pattern Used: In A Flap Cap {free on Ravelry}
Changes to the pattern:
Knit double stranded. I added and inch to the neck and 7 rows to the crown before decreasing. And added 3 stitch i-cords for ties (single stranded).
